GynItaly25 – International Meeting on Minimally Invasive Surgery in Gynecology
From 27 to 29 May 2025, the Palazzo del Casinò on Venice Lido hosted GynItaly25 – International Meeting on Minimally Invasive Surgery in Gynecology, an international event dedicated to the latest developments in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery and their application in clinical practice.
Chaired by Dr Mario Malzoni, the meeting was conceived as a true “From Theory to Clinical Practice” bootcamp, focusing on the management of patients with benign and malignant gynaecological conditions and following the entire pathway from diagnosis to the choice of medical and surgical treatment. The format brought together international experts and featured interactive training sessions and workshops aimed at passing on knowledge and skills that can be applied directly in everyday clinical practice.
The scientific programme covered a wide range of specialist topics, including endometriosis and adenomyosis, gynaecological oncology, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and mini-laparoscopy, robotic surgery, uro-gynaecology, vaginal surgery and V-NOTES, imaging and ultrasound, fertility preservation and reproductive surgery. Particular attention was also given to emerging technologies, with sessions devoted to artificial intelligence, AI-assisted surgery and augmented reality, as well as new laser technologies and more sustainable models of surgery.
The meeting’s international dimension was further underlined by the choice of English as the official congress language, with simultaneous interpretation into Italian, encouraging exchange between specialists from different countries and disciplines.
The Palazzo del Casinò offered a layout particularly well suited to an event combining scientific sessions, training activities and opportunities for discussion. The venue features the Sala Perla, with a maximum capacity of 594, four further large halls and more than 3,000 m² of exhibition space, allowing the various activities in the programme to be arranged flexibly.
GynItaly25 thus added another international event to the Lido’s medical and scientific congress season, confirming the hub’s ability to host highly specialised events that require plenary halls, parallel sessions, hands-on training and networking spaces under one roof.
