Getting around Venice Lido

Getting around the Lido is easy, thanks to an extensive transport network and manageable distances. On the island you can travel on foot, by bike, by bus, by car and by taxi. The waterbus stops provide frequent connections with Venice and also reach the main islands of the lagoon. The Lido is therefore a convenient base both for getting around locally and for exploring the rest of the city and the lagoon.

Set in the prestigious surroundings of Venice Lido, the airport lies at the northern tip of the island, around 3 km from St Mark’s Square. Thanks to its dedicated canal, it can be reached quickly and easily by water taxi from the historic centre. It is also well connected to the centre of the island by bus or taxi.
